The Office for the Media (GMCS) is a service of direct central administration of the State.

The GMCS its main duties are:

• Support the Government in the design, implementation and evaluation of public policies for social communication; Collaborate in the external representation of the State in this area;
• Implement and oversee the State incentive system for the mass communication;
• Monitor compliance with the obligations regarding distribution and transparency in advertising entities and public services.
