Until July 31, in Social Security Direct
As in previous years, the School Examination must be carried out until July 31, through the Social Security Direct, so that the payment of benefits is assured at the beginning of the school year to which you are entitled to benefit from them.
The performance of the School Proof guarantees the continuity of the payment of:
- Family allowance for young people over 16 years of age (24 in the event of a disability), or who complete this age during the school year, and who are enrolled in primary, secondary, higher or equivalent education (vocational training course that gives equivalence );
- Study Grant to young people under the age of 18 at the beginning of the 2016/2017 school year who are enrolled in the 10th, 11th or 12th year of schooling and receive Family Allowance by the 1st or 2nd step.
Students who register after July 31, for example those in higher education, can take the test by December 31.
In the event that the School Proof is not made during the month of July, the payments of the Family Allowance for Children and Young People and the Study Exchange will be suspended from September, being paid retroactively if the School Proof is in the meantime made until 31 from December.
It should be noted that the achievement of the School Proof, through Direct Social Security, is mandatory for all young people who receive Family Allowance for Social Security, and NISS must be indicated at the time of enrollment.
