The General Directorate for Justice Policy (DGPJ) is a central service of the direct administration of the State, with administrative autonomy, running on to the Minister of Justice.

The DGPJ's mission is to provide technical support, follow and monitor policies, organize and encourage the use of arbitration courts, the justices of the peace and other extrajudicial means of conflict resolution, ensure strategic planning and coordination of external relations and cooperation , and is responsible for statistical information of the justice sector.
